Want to become…
Stronger • Leaner • More Confident
Supported • Addicted!
We totally get that things come up and you can’t make it to the barre. if you have reserved your space in class {and we recommend that you do}, please cancel at least 12 hours in advance to avoid being charged any cancellation fees.
To gain the most from your barre class, you must wear grippy socks which are available in our boutique and based on our specialized equipment, we recommend leggings and a comfortable top that covers most of your midriff. Studio Barre classes focus on a specific muscle group at one time, and therefore it is important to keep your idle muscles warm until they are ready to become the focus. This will ensure the utmost safe workout for you! {this also allows our staff to make the proper hands on corrections}
The required attire for taking class at our studio is: leggings {capri length or longer}, a top that completely covers midriff and grippy socks. The reason leggings and a full covered top are required is to keep the heat in the body to prevent injury while keeping muscles warm. This will ensure the utmost safe workout for you! {this also allows our staff to make the proper hands on corrections} The Studio Barre workout is done without shoes and because we care about your safety, we require you wear grippy socks in class. Not only are they super cute, but they will keep your feet in place and everything clean. You can shop our boutique for your grippy socks.
Classes and class packages are not interchangeable at other Studio Barre locations. Only Studio Barre Society members can enjoy classes at all studio barre locations for a discounted drop-in price. All packages are non-refundable and non-transferable, however they do not expire...ever!
We love when you shop in our boutique. If you need to, you can return unworn merchandise within 14 days of purchase with tags still on for boutique credit.

Ava recently moved to Ventura after graduating from San Diego State University. She was a client at the Mission Hills studio in San Diego, and found us right away when she moved to the area. She is a bright smile at the front desk and a wonderful caretaker for the kiddos who come to our childcare hours.
Jenna was born and raised in Thousand Oaks and graduated fro TOHS last June. She started at Studio Barre as a client because her Aunt Addie was an instructor! She immediately fell in love with the workout and shortly after started working as a Barre{ista}.
What she loves about Studio Barre:
“I love how accomplished I feel after completing a class. It gets the endorphins going & you feel like you’re on cloud nine. There’s no bad day that a little tuckin’ can’t fix! On top of that, the atmosphere and attitudes of everyone who goes to SBNP is unlike anywhere else! So much love!💛”
Her favorite barre position:
“I love all pretzel, but seated pretzel is my favorite for sure! I love how you can really feel the muscles working and days after you can always feel how sore you are, no matter which version you do. But with seated pretzel you can really focus in on your seat and let it burn so good!”
Her favorite non-barre activity:
“I love going hiking, we live in such a beautiful area there’s never a bad day to go! All my family live really close too, so spending time with them is very special to me, our favorite activity being camping. I also love spending time with friends and playing with puppies!😍”
Fun fact about Jenna:
“I am very health conscious which is what initially drew me in to SBNP because of the amazing workouts and positive, uplifting community, and I’m currently going to school to become a dietitian!”
Allie was born and raised in Newbury Park! She moved to Santa Barbara to go to school at UCSB, and then moved back to NP after graduation. You’ll see Allie’s sweet smile at the desk on Monday mornings and serving up cold margaritas after the 5:30 class on Fridays!
What she loves most about Studio Barre:
“I loveeeee the energy and positivity! I always feel so good leaving barre, because the workout is amazing (obvi), but the instructors, staff, and Cindi are just so sweet and caring! Barre is a community of encouraging and uplifting badass babes!! I just simply love it.”
Her favorite barre position:
“Favorite barre position is any version of pretzel 🥨 ! The burn is just so darn good! I also love using the red bands in class because the added challenge of balance and resistance makes for a super great full-body workout!”
Her favorite non-barre activity:
“I love reading “Psychology Today” magazine, seeing new movies in the theater, trying new restaurants, and going on staycations!”
Fun fact:
“I studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland as an undergrad at UCSB, and was lucky enough to visit 8 countries while abroad: Ireland, Scotland, England, Portugal, Italy, France, the Netherlands, and Spain!”
Kailey was born in Bettendorf, IA but has lived more than half her life here in the Conejo Valley. She loves the sense of community! “Newbury Park is just the coziest town” 🙂
Molly lives in Camarillo with her husband, Bret, their son Brock, their vizsla Bulleit and a baby boy due any day now! She has taught and tucked right up to the end of her pregnancy, so if you need any prego tucking advice, she’s your girl!
Gloria grew up in Simi Valley, but has lived in Newbury Park with her husband, Jeff for over 25 years. She and Jeff have 2 amazing grown children and Gloria has been a loyal tucker at our studio since we opened in 2014. She recently decided to train to become a barre{tender} and is killing it behind the mic!
Shannon lives in Newbury Park with her husband, Rob (a newly addicted tucker!), their three gorgeous children and sweet pit bull, Harper. Shannon is one of the few tuckers in the studio to have taken well over 800 classes! So, when she went from client to barre{tender} it was as if she had been teaching barre forever!
Kellie grew up in Newbury Park and recently finished her Masters Degree at CLU. She just got engaged to her boyfriend, Michael so there is going to be a lot of fun wedding talk in the studio this year!
Fitness has always been a part of Addie’s life. whether it be waterskiing and playing sports while growing up, or just being outside playing with her boys, she fell in love with fitness when she discovered how mentally and physically strong it made her!
Addie has lived in the Conejo Valley for 30 years. After graduating from Thousand Oaks High School, she moved to Newbury Park, and has stayed! She loves this community because of all the amazing local things to do and the people who make this a special place to live and raise her boys.
Born and raised in California, April moved to Steamboat Springs where she lived for 14 years before moving back CA in 2004 to marry her soulmate, Gary. They now live in Newbury Park with their two wonderful boys, 3 dogs, 2 cats and lots of fish.
After taking her first aerobics class at 16, April was hooked. She became certified and began teaching group fitness over 20 years ago.
What she loves about barre:
“With all my exercise experience, I’ve never encountered a technique that focuses on and creates such a super tight core. I think I’ve actually grown a few inches by all the lengthening and strengthening.”
April’s favorite barre position:
“Side-L. Working the seat in this position really creates a beautiful shape to the back of the leg, making for a high and super tight tush!”
April’s favorite non-barre activity:
“Mountain biking! There is nothing quite like the feeling of flying down a trail with the wind blowing in your face, causing your eyes to tear up. knowing there’s nothing between you and the ground but your tires is liberating and enthralling. I like the speed!!”
Cindi was born in Los Angeles, grew up in New York, then spent time going to school in San Diego and Pasadena before moving to Newbury Park in 1998. “I love this area so much! It is the perfect place to raise our family.”
What she loves about barre:
“One of my favorite things about barre (besides the killer workout) is the people it attracts. I have met some of the most amazing, inspiring women through this studio”
Cindi’s favorite barre position:
“That’s a tie between waterski and any turnout seat! I always feel so badass in waterski (even though I can barely ever get through it!) and I absolutely love the way any turnout seat position feels. I can literally feel my booty changing!”
Cindi’s favorite non-barre activity:
“I love to hike the trails around my house with my dogs and I love spending time at the beach with my family. We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the world and I love to take advantage of it!”
More fun facts about Cindi:
“My husband and I met in college and have been together over 25 years, and we have two amazing boys, ages 17 and 15. People refer to our house as a zoo! We’ve had almost every animal you can think of from birds to snakes! At the moment we have a 6 year old rescue Pit Bull mix named Sully, a 3 year old rescue Great Dane mix named Boomer and an 8 year old Red eared slider turtle named Frog.”
